This is one of the most exciting days of your life. You want it to be just perfect in every way. It should be fun! It should be all about you, it should be stress free. Therefore it is important that you and I work closely together to make it fun, unique, and professional.

Remember, you cannot hold a wedding without a celebrant or a Minister of Religion, so your top priority is finding one whom you will click with; who will set the tone for the rest of the day; and who will make your day unforgettable, fun and romantic and legal; and who will take the guesswork out of your day.

THREE STEP PROCESS

• The 1st step in arranging your ceremony is to choose a celebrant who will provide you with all of the above and more, at a reasonable cost, but offering an above-average wedding.
• Your 2nd step is to arrange a FREE obligation–free meeting so that you will feel comfortable and reassured before we work together to create something special and unique.
• The 3rd important step is to sign the Notice of Intent to Marry form (NOIM). This needs to be signed at least one month and one day before your wedding, and not more than 18 calendar month's before your big day. I will provide you with this form, (or you can download it from www.ag.gov.au). All you need to do is have your birth certificates, and in the case of a second or third marriage, divorce papers, or death certificates of the other spouse. The lodgement of the NOIM you can leave up to me.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT

• You will be given a collection of different ceremonies, and various verses that you may wish to use. You may input as much or as little as you wish, into the ceremony. You may have special friends you would like to participate in your wedding, by reading a verse, playing an instrument or singing — I will happily accommodate whatever you wish into making your day especially individual for each of you. For the special music you choose for your day, you may use my sound system, and my PA system will ensure that everyone hears the whole ceremony.
• There are also many variations within the legal framework that you may wish to use, such as a rose or wine ceremony, sand ceremony, ring warming, or hand-fasting ceremony, to mention just a few. You may wish to include other cultural or religious elements. Children are often part of the wedding ceremony and you will be given different ideas so that they are part of your special day.
